Dear Northwest Families,
Last Tuesday, despite the chilly weather, we gathered for a truly exciting moment in our school's history—the official groundbreaking for the new Northwest Elementary building!
It was a proud day for our entire community as we took the first step toward a future filled with new opportunities for our students and staff. While the temperatures were cold, the energy and excitement were undeniable as shovels hit the ground to mark the beginning of this incredible project.
We had our 2nd graders sing a song during the ceremony, and 3 lucky students were chosen to help break the ground. The 2nd grade was chosen because they will be the first 5th grade class in our new building.
Thank you for being part of the journey. We can’t wait to share more updates along the way as our vision for the new Northwest takes shape!
