Dear Northwest Families,
Our first week of school was nothing short of amazing! The Red Carpet experience is a celebrated tradition - and a memorable experience for our students and families! Our classrooms are filled with eager students and inspired staff!
IMPORTANT REMINDERS ABOUT ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
The morning kiss-n-go lane “opens'' at 8:35am. Please have your child ready to exit the car from the passenger side with their belongings at any of the orange cones. They may exit independently. If they need adult assistance, please turn on your hazards.
Families that walk their child(ren) to school should say goodbye at the sidewalk. In the spirit of safety, we are trying to avoid too many adults and strangers coming on to campus.
At the end of the day, families with BK/K students ONLY are welcome to pick-up their student at 3:30 and beat the crowd.
Kiss-n-go families: please be careful not to block the entrance and exit to the bus lot.
HALLOWEEN
As you make your Halloween plans and purchases, please remember that costumes may not have blood, weapons, or be considered too "scary." A good rule of thumb is to refrain from wearing costumes that have been, or could be worn, in a horror movie. We have children as young as four in our building and we want to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and safe Halloween experience at school.
We are also going to return to the “No Masks” rule. We have been having a really hard time judging what is scary or not. Thank you for your help with this.
Yours in Education,
Craig Munro
