Dear Northwest Families,
It was exciting to get our first real snowfall of the season! This is a friendly reminder to send your students with all their gear everyday, including snow pants. It makes for an uncomfortable afternoon if students have to sit and learn wearing cold, wet clothes! It may even be worth, if possible, to have a set of gear for home and a set for school.
Ms. Morales has established our music program schedule: you can see it here! Please note that our 2:00 daytime performances are for STUDENTS/STAFF only. Families that want to participate are invited to attend the evening performances only.
The Canned Food Drive has started and will run through December 2nd. Next week (Monday and Tuesday), Student Council will be hosting a friendly competition between classes to see which class can bring in the most cans! The winning class will earn ice cream bars from Dairy Queen! You can also donate through the QR code that is on the note sent home with your student (each dollar counts as one can).
