Dear Northwest Families,   Today, we were able to host Mr. MacGregor and School Board Member Ms. Courtney Tarara in our building.  I was able to introduce them to a few of our Student Council members as we took a tour.  One of the questions from the students was, “What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?”  While I was taken back as I was not ready for the mature question, I had to take a momen ... more»

Dear Northwest Families,   Temperatures are dropping, but we are still trying to give the students as much time outside as possible. Please send your child with a jacket, hat, and pair of gloves/mittens every day - and a change of clothes if they are prone to getting wet or dirty during play.   Speaking of play, we are seeing a small increase in playground issues. Dear Northwest Families,   Halloween is next week! We will be holding a Halloween Parade for our teachers and students on Friday, October 29th at 2:00 - parents are invited to join us outside along Bower Street.  If the weather is not suitable for an outdoor parade, we will have only the students parade indoors and the teachers will be sharing pictures with families.  We love seeing all of the stu ... more»
