Dear Northwest Families,   It was exciting to get our first real snowfall of the season! This is a friendly reminder to send your students with all their gear everyday, including snow pants. It makes for an uncomfortable afternoon if students have to sit and learn wearing cold, wet clothes! Dear Northwest Families,   Temperatures are going to be dropping soon, but we will still be trying to give the students as much time outside as possible. When the temperatures do drop, please send your child with a jacket, hat, and pair of gloves/mittens every day - and a change of clothes if they are prone to getting wet or dirty during play. Dear Northwest Families,   Here comes the cold weather!  Please remember to send warm clothes with your student(s) each day: hats, gloves, and scarves. We go outside as long as it is not raining and the temperature is above 10 degrees with the wind chill (I typically rely on the weather.com app). Dear Northwest Families,   This school year continues to fly by as we close out the first quarter. I first need to say “THANK YOU!” to our wonderful PTO, for their hard work on the Color Run, and to our families for their unprecedented generosity! We raised over $40,000!
